Learn to control the properties of your images through the understanding of apertures, shutter speeds, depth of field, shutter motion effects, equivalent exposures, exposure modes (program, aperture priority, shutter priority, and manual), ISO, eliminating camera shake, digital noise, metering modes, exposure compensation, histograms, and dynamic range issues. Students must have a camera with manual controls. Participants receive detailed notes on the class topics, are shown how to make the adjustments on their own camera, and are given photography assignments that reinforce the class topics. This class is suggested for beginners, but intermediate students who would like to level up their skills are encouraged to join. Special Program Information The instructor is Joe Yablonsky. This program includes 5 sessions, 3 hours each. This class will not be held on May 1. General Information This studio arts program is a Zoom Meeting to allow for patron and instructor interaction online. All Studio Arts programs require an online registration for each participant so that the instructor can provide individual attention to every student registered for the online program.
